Enjoy a musical tour, that provides an immersive experience into the history of Glendalough. Hosted by Glendalough Musical Tours, County Wicklow, the tours intertwine the history of the area with music relevant to its culture, time and place.

Glendalough Musical Tours is a musical guided tour created to offer visitors an experience where the history is interpreted musically as well as verbally. On this musical tour your guide will take you through Glendalough's monastic site founded by St.Kevin in the 6th century. The tour is structured around the historical relevance of each building within the monastic city but also goes beyond, explaining the inner workings of the monastery.

Monasteries are considered to have been the first universities in Ireland, as it was here that kings and noblemen travelled from near and far to learn how to read and write along with a vast assortment of other craftsmanships. With the magnificent Round Tower, St Kevin's Kitchen, and the hundreds of stories etched on the tombs of those buried here, there is no shortage of magic to Glendalough. Private tours, groups and school groups, tours are catered for.
