Killegar Stables is one of Irelands longest running riding schools. Situated in the picturesque hills of Enniskerry village, just a stones throw away from Powerscourt Estate, Gardens and Waterfall and the famous Johnnie Fox's pub. The popular quaint village of Enniskerry nearby offers several places to enjoy lunch or breakfast, coffee and cake or some gift shopping. The nearby Powerscourt Hotel also offers a free guest shuttle to our stables. Killegar Stables cater for individuals, groups up to 20 people including corporate and hen or stag outings.

Lessons: One hour group kids lesson. 15 and under One hour Group adult lessons. 45 minute semi private lesson. For a small group of people. ie. mother daughter or 2 or 3 friends. One to one exclusive instructor session. 45 minute private one to one tuition.

Treks:

1 Hour Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced level. Treks in Killegar Forest where they have exclusive trekking rights. The chance to see Ireland's once thought extinct red deer and unique views of The Scalp and Bray.

2 Hour. Intermediate and Advanced level only

With a trek to the Old Lead mines site and chimney stack. The trail then leads to the top of Carrickgollogan forest where there are amazing views of South Dublin coast and county all the way to North Wicklow County and coast line. A View Not To Be Missed.

3 Hour trek Intermediate and Advanced level only. A combination of the 1 and 2 hour treks as listed above.

Killegar Stables ride out at 10:00, 11:00, 12:00, 14:30, 15:30, 16:00. Killegar Stables only accept cash on arrival and can provide hats and have a very limited selection of boots if required.
