The Song Cycle and Q&A
Bray, Co. Wicklow
27 July 2026
In 2022, musician and filmmaker Nick Kelly cycled from his home in Dublin to the Glastonbury Festival in Somerset, England-carrying his guitar, tent and all the other essentials.

He was accompanied by his friend and ‘Dogs’ collaborator Sean Millar, who was following the same route on public transport.

Nick’s charming documentary about the journey proves a celebration of sustainability in its many forms, while also allowing the filmmaker to thoughtfully reflect on his relationship with his late father. It’s a film that encourages viewers to stay in the saddle and keep pedalling, whatever the weather, traffic or gradient faced.

Nick Kelly will attend the screening with his bike and guitar. He will answer audience questions and maybe even play a few tunes!
