Situated in the heart of The Burren on a traditional farm, Clare’s Rock Hostel is a clean, comfortable choice for groups, couples and families.

The hostel offers private ensuite rooms for families and couples in it's newer building, but also offers group accommodation in the main hostel. It has large self catering kitchens, a common room, WiFi internet access, TV room, laundry facilities, bike hire and free parking. There are both indoor and outdoor games for the enjoyment of all guests.

The staff of Clare’s Rock Hostel minimise their effect on the environment through a number of measures, such as recycling, water conservation, and the use of wind power and solar panels.

Carron is the highest village in the mountains of The Burren. In the area, guests can discover many fascinating sites like the Poulnabrone Dolmen megalithic burial tomb, 5th century stone forts, Aillwee Cave and the famous Cliffs of Moher.

To ensure social distancing guidelines, Clare's Rock will not operate as a hostel for individuals or walk-in customers but will open for pre-booked family and group bookings for 2021.
