Mount Brandon Cottages are set in Graiguenamanagh, the Village of the Monks, in County Kilkenny only five minutes’ walk from the river Barrow, a haven for game and coarse anglers alike.

Mount Brandon is an excellent starting point for those wanting to explore the ‘Medieval capital of Ireland, Kilkenny, as well as Carlow, Enniscorthy, Wexford or Waterford. They are also ideally based for golfing holidays in Ireland, with Mount Juliet golf club only a short drive away.

In very attractive and comfortable surroundings, Mount Brandon Cottages offer the freedom to relax and wander through a magnificent natural environment of mountain, meadow and river with spectacular views of the Barrow Valley landscape, the Blackstairs mountain range and Brandon Hill.

All of the cottages are built in a traditional style featuring pine throughout. Each unit is superbly equipped and includes three bedrooms (one single downstairs and two doubles upstairs) furnished with pine furniture and hotel quality mattresses. There is a downstairs shower room and an upstairs bathroom. The property has electric storage heating and an open fireplace. There is a fully fitted kitchen with Whirlpool appliances and towels and bed linen are provided. There is also a TV, CD player, DVD player and WiFi access for guests use. There is a state of the art barbecue house for guests use. This really is the rural idyll at the edge of town. There is private parking for one car and bicycle hire can be arranged.
