Oaklands B&B in Cork City is an 18th century town house. It is a family run B&B and has been in operation for nearly 40 years. All bedrooms are ensuite; televisions and hair dryers are provided. There is a guest lounge available where all visitors can enjoy tea and coffee.

Oaklands B&B is an ideal location for guests using bus or train services as it is located less than a minutes’ walk from Kent Railway Station, only five minutes’ walk from Cork Parnell Bus Station and only about six minutes’ walk from Aircoach, Citylink and GoBe private bus services. Oaklands B&B is located just a short ten minutes’ walk to Cork City centre where there is a large variety of shops, bars and restaurants to visit. Oaklands B&B is approximately a 20 minutes’ drive from Cork Airport.

Places of interest to visit locally include Blarney Castle, Cobh, Kinsale, Midleton Jameson Distillery and a whole host of other attractions. The towns of Cobh and Midleton are just a quick 20 to 30 minute train journey. Blarney Castle is a 20 minute road drive while the town of Kinsale is approximately a 45 minutes journey by road. The town of Killarney on the beautiful Ring of Kerry is only an hours drive from Oaklands B&B. As there are many organised day tours departing from Cork City Oaklands B&B is an ideal place to stay.
