The neighbouring towns Killaloe and Ballina, are two super cosy twin towns, situated on the River Shannon and Lough Derg. This makes the area the busiest marina centre of the West.

Both Killaloe and Ballina are on the other side of the 18th century stone bridge with 13 arches and offer lots of nice pubs, restaurants and shops.
