Based in the fishing village of Carraigaholt on the Shannon Estuary, Carraigaholt Sea Angling Centre offers the serious fisherman the chance to fish in some of the best fishing grounds in Europe. Carraigaholt Sea Angling Centre runs a new 37ft Lochin, fitted with a 650 HP engine at 18 knots.
Surrounded by beautiful views of Loop Head, the West coast of Clare and the Kerry mountains you can expect your catch to include whitefish like cod, pollock, ling, haddock and whiting. Mackerel are also in plentiful supply and can be used as bait for tope, large skate, conger and blue shark.
Your skipper will give you all the help and advice you require and can supply you with rods, bait and tackle. Accommodation is offered in their own guest house in Carraigaholt, County Clare.
