Charm Bee is a pottery painting studio and café in Labasheeda, County Clare. They offer customers the opportunity to have their fingerprint impressions taken onsite to be imprinted on ceramic pieces, set in clay plaques, or as handcrafted silver pendants and charms.

Charm Bee is a family run business, located in the picturesque village of Labasheeda, County Clare, along the scenic drive of The Shannon Estuary Way. Charm Bee offers pottery painting on a drop in or pre book basis, although advance booking is advised.

There is an on site studio where you can create keepsake memories in ceramic and silver. Visit the café where you will find a variety of treats to enjoy, you don’t even have to paint a piece.

Why we like it
  • Enjoy the views of the Shannon Estuary from outside the café.
  • Make your own keepsake mug or plate.
  • Make a fingerprint memento to remember your day by.
Tips from locals

The nearby Kilkerin Point Battery is a late 18th Century fortress built by the British to defend the Shannon Estuary from a possible French invasion by Napoleon’s forces. It has a great vantage point to see across the estuary to Tarbert, from where the car ferry to Killimer departs from.
