Heartlands Ecotours, operating in Tulla, County Clare, provide high quality walking tours with minimal ecological impact. They specialise in nature based, historical and mindfulness experiences, particularly in East Clare and the Lough Derg area, to suit all needs.

Heartlands Ecotours offer a variety of walking tours to suit all tastes, tailored to meet your needs.

On the nature tour, learn about plants and animals of East Clare and Lough Derg in stunning upland scenery and in the depths of mystical woodlands.

Also available are heritage walks, where the past is brought to life. See where Brian Boru lived, where he was inaugurated and the ancient church he visited. Visit old workhouses, explore ancient graveyards, secret burial grounds and some of the famous mass rocks dotted around the countryside.

Another highlight is to follow the artists' trail, experiencing private and hands on experiences with some of the many craftspeople in this diverse community. Experience live music sessions, home grown theatre and other creative outlets.

Other tour options include the mindfulness tour, with a guided walking meditation, the 12 O'Clock Hills walk, a full moon hike, or a longer, more challenging walk off trail in the stunning Sliabh Bernagh Hills.
