The crescent shaped beach at Kilkee in County Clare is a stretch of golden sand that slightly slopes toward the sea, and is a popular holiday spot during the summer months.
The beach at Kilkee has a number of interesting pools and there are some good cliff walks nearby. There are many local amenities to be found in the town including accessible toilets, restaurants and shops.
The beach is patrolled by lifeguards during the bathing season and more information can be found on the notice board located at the beach.
