The River Spa is located at the Falls Hotel in Ennistymon, County Clare, which has offered generations of guests a warm welcome and an enjoyable stay.

The Spa is located in a stable building which was constructed in the 1700’s and in 2006 it was restored and the beautiful stonework pointed and exposed. This building is interconnected with the hotel and the leisure club and the Spa includes the Spa café, Spa lounge and treatment rooms that have a wonderful rustic feel to them.

There is a wide range of treatment to choose from including massage techniques, facials, dry floats, body scrubs, bathing ceremonies, tinting, waxing, nails, make-up and a thermal suite that includes an experience shower, sauna and steam room.

River Spa provides a broad range of holistic facials created by the exclusive and world renowned Elemis range. Elemis products are based on organic active plant ingredients. Choose from the Elemis facial menu and indulge in delicious scents, Thai facial and scalp massage techniques, impressive skin care and anti-ageing results.

The range of massage treatments use organic plant oils and combine therapeutic stretching and kneading movements to improve circulation, while cleansing and nourishing muscles tissue.

The spa specialises in couples treatments which include massage and bathing ceremonies plus treatments that are suitable for golfers, hill walkers, surfers, pregnant women, brides preparing for their big day and groups looking for a bit of R&R together.

River Spa is interconnected with the leisure club and it is recommended that all spa guests utilise the facilities before treatments. The leisure facility includes a 20-meter swimming pool, sauna, steam room, outdoor hot tub, Jacuzzi and a hydrotherapy pool and all or one of these are superb preface to a treatment.

The Spa is open daily and is open to both residents of the hotel and non-residents. There are packages available that combine accommodation in the hotel with treatments in the spa during the stay, some include evening meals also and they vary throughout the year.
