Spanish Point has a beautiful long sandy beach within a sheltered location makes it a family friendly shore, perfect for shelling and sandcastle-building. The beach is located on the northern side of the village and has ample parking. Its high waves rolling in from the Atlantic Ocean are popular with surfers as with swimmers alike, surfing schools operate here in summer. A number of picnic benches are dotted along the length of the beach for those of you that love to picnic at the seaside.
