Spanish Point has a beautiful long sandy beach within a sheltered location that makes it a family friendly shore, perfect for shelling and sandcastle building.

Spanish Point is located on the R482 road between Miltown Malbay and Quilty, with unrestricted views of the Atlantic Ocean.

A number of picnic benches are dotted along the length of the beach for those of you that love to picnic at the seaside.

The beach is located on the northern side of Spanish Point and has ample parking. Its high waves rolling in from the Atlantic Ocean are popular with surfers and swimmers alike. Surfing schools operate here in the summer.
