The Snug Café serves pizzas, tapas and salads in a cosy environment in the small and beautiful scenic village of Mountshannon, County Clare. Guests enjoy the casual, creative ambiance in this inviting eatery on the banks of the River Shannon and Lough Derg.

The Snug Café is situated in Mountshannon, a popular area for Shannon River cruiser and is a short walk from the marina. Visitors can enjoy views of Lough Derg and its islands, while relaxing in a cosy atmosphere.

Enjoy homemade pizza, organic salads, tapas and more. Savour fine wines and craft beers, as well as organic and fair trade Peruvian Ponaire coffee. Vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free options are available.

The Snug Café helps local artists by promoting their artwork in regular exhibitions and events.

Monthly movie nights at The Snug Café have become a local tradition, among the many reasons for visiting this inviting hot spot. Every Saturday, the local Mountshannon Market is set up in front of The Snug Café. Stop and visit with the locals and browse their offerings of fresh fruit, vegetables and other homemade treats.
