Wakeboarding on two straight line cables with obstacles. The System 2.0 is the perfect way to learn to wakeboard and for all levels of riders. All equipment supplied, book online, and Ballyhass is part of a full activity centre.

Ballyhass is delighted to bring the world’s latest and fastest growing water sport into the heart of Munster. Cable wakeboarding uses an overhead cable which pulls you over the surface of the lakes with a feel just like surfing or snowboarding but on water. This is the most accessible water sport for all ages and most of all fantastic fun.

Ballyhass have installed two Sesitec system 2.0. The System 2.0 is essentially a straight-line cable system that is great for events or stand-alone rail parks. The System 2.0 allows for a continuous ride, it is the perfect way to learn to wakeboard and has a high record for teaching people to wakeboard. This is due to the incredible speed control the driver has and the upward pull of the cable. The system is suitable for all levels of riders. What really makes a wake park though is the obstacle setup underneath the cable. Think floating skate park! Ballyhass has several obstacles on both lines that are ideal for beginners who are hitting an obstacle for the first time and amazing fun for an experienced rider at any level.

Ballyhass Wake Park is ideal for getting groups on to the water to learn how to wakeboard. For riders who really want to progress their skill level, there will be options to buy memberships, ride packs and courses. Something to suit everyone's price point.
