Experience guided hikes in spectacularly scenic areas while learning about Irish culture and history. The Hiker Tour is designed for those who love the outdoors and enjoy hiking up to 4 hours per day. Accommodation is included and carefully selected.

Beyond the Glass 5 Day Hiker Tour is a selection of fiveOne spectacular and diverse hikes for you to enjoy as you explore lesser travelled paths along the southwest section of Ireland’s Wild Atlantic Way. The tour departs from Cork City and travels west as far as Dingle in county Kerry. Soak up the wonder of Ireland as you hike on beautiful coastal paths, forest tracks and mountain trails. Breathe deeply and marvel at the vast expanse of land and sea views from the top of Ireland’s highest mountain, Carrauntoohil. This fully guided, small group tour rewards you with inspiring scenery and a deep sense of inner wellbeing. Spend approximately 4 hours per day hiking.

On day one you will be rewarded with panoramic views of the lakes of Killarney from a mountain summit, then hike to Torc Waterfall. You will also visit Muckross National Park, Muckross Abbey and the gardens of Muckross House.

On day two you will hike to Ross Castle, followed by a boat trip on the three lakes of Killarney, with more hiking in the famous glaciated valleys of County Kerry.

On day three you will hike to the top of Ireland’s highest mountain, Carrauntoohil, which stands at 1040 metres. The route to the summit is one of the lesser used, challenging but very rewarding. A less strenuous route is available, if preferred.

On day four you will hike on a magnificent section of the Dingle Way, enjoy the Slea Head Drive, and hear traditional Irish music in Dingle.

Day five takes you through a secret valley in Stack’s Mountains with panoramic views of the mountains of Cork and Kerry.
