The Clonakilty International Guitar Festival (CIGF) returns for its 20th year from the 13th – 22nd September 2024. CIGF is an award-winning celebration of all things guitar, with the majority of the festival shows free across the week.

Over two weekends in September they attempt to create a musical Nirvana within the boundaries of their beloved Clonakilty. For these 10 days the whole town becomes the stage, where small venues and re-imagined public spaces facilitate encounters with great music and great people!

From headline ticketed shows, to a free session trail, to workshops and impromptu performances on the street, there will be no escaping the sound of those sweet six-strings.
