The Cork Powerboat & Water Ski Club is based on the River Lee in the beautiful Lee Valley in Dripsey, County Cork. It is home to 25 times Irish national water ski champion Barry Galvin, offering world class coaching and training.

Situated about a half hour drive from Cork City or 20 minutes from Blarney, the Cork Powerboat & Water Ski Club is based on the River Lee in Dripsey, County Cork.

Whether it is your first time or you already have the know how, you will enjoy and benefit from your time with them. If it is your first time, all you need is an appointment, your swim gear and a towel. They will provide you with a wetsuit if you don’t have one as hire is included in the price of the lesson. They will provide you with skis or a wakeboard and a buoyancy aid also.

They recommend that if you have your own gear to bring this with you, as this is what you will be using at home. If you do not own anything they have an onsite, fully stocked pro shop where you can buy anything that you may need including skis, wakeboards, mono skis, wetsuits, personal flotation devices, ropes handles and loads of other great stuff including clothing and sunglasses. There are also onsite changing facilities with showers and a sauna, with the use of these facilities also included in the price.

Children are very welcome but must be accompanied by an adult and must wear personal floatation devices at all times. Lessons are provided for children from four years and older.
