Each May, the seaside village of Schull in West Cork, Ireland, transforms into a vibrant hub for film lovers from around the world. Over five days, more than 100 short films, 20 feature films, and 7,000 visitors gather to celebrate cinema in unique settings, from the village hall and local hotels to cafés, pubs, restaurants, and even screenings on Cape Clear Island. Renowned film industry experts host seminars, workshops, and masterclasses, creating opportunities for learning and collaboration. By connecting emerging filmmakers with seasoned professionals, the festival fosters creativity and dialogue from script to screen.
