This Wild Atlantic Way Discovery Point is situated by an old Norman wall which separates Galley Head from the mainland. Galley Head lighthouse dominates the headland with Irish Landmark Trust owning the two adjacent lighthouse keeper’s cottages.
Elevated over 100m above the sea the rocky headland offers a great vantage point overlooking two exceptional beaches with expansive coastal views.
