Kerr’s Bookshop is in the heart of vibrant Clonakilty, one of the most popular towns in West Cork. The An Post award winning bookshop has a warm friendly atmosphere where customers are invited to browse at their leisure.

A wide range of titles are stocked, from crime to modern literature, and non fiction to cookery. There is plenty of choice for children and young adults too and a particularly good range of titles on local history, Irish history, and general Irish interest is available along with maps and local walking guides.

Customers are welcome to seek recommendations from the bookshop’s knowledgeable and widely read staff, and in the event a title is not stocked, individual orders are a specialty and can usually be arranged in a few days. Other services provided include book tokens, gift vouchers, complimentary gift wrapping and a loyalty card scheme.

With a multitude of cafés only a few steps away and easy access to nearby beaches, there is always somewhere to relax with a good book.
