KoKo Kinsale is family run handmade chocolate shop situated on the main pier in the heart of Kinsale, County Cork. The provide delicious, handcrafted chocolates using locally sourced ingredients.

Since opening its doors, KoKo Kinsale has become an integral part of the local Kinsale community. Customers know the shop well, and the shop knows its customers. This connection has allowed Frank to carefully adapt ideas and develop new flavour combinations to suit the Irish palate.

Walking near KoKo Kinsale, one is greeted by the tempting aroma of chocolate and coffee wafting along the pier, drawing both the young and the young at heart to Frank Keane’s KoKo Kinsale. Inside, there is an array of chocolate in various sizes, shapes, strengths and colours.

For fun, Frank began adding color to his chocolate, creating yellow chocolate birds, pink chocolate hearts, multicolored chocolate flowers, and casting chocolate shapes such as Santa, eggs, love hearts, cows, dogs, cats, stars, letters, chickens, and even a chocolate castle. For special occasions, customers can "Say it with Chocolate" by commissioning a piece of chocolate with a personal message. The hot chocolate is sublime, and chocolate shots offer the ultimate indulgence.

Visitors can immerse themselves in the world of chocolate with a hands on truffle making course. They can delve into the rich history of chocolate, savour a tasting of single origin chocolates, and enjoy exclusive access to KoKo Kinsale’s kitchen. Here, they will master the art of making ganache and creating their own signature truffles. Participants also get to take home ten handcrafted truffles to share or savour themselves.
