Heffernan will be working in the Triskel Sample Project Space on Culture Night making a series of drawings in response to the work he has made during the first half of his residency in the space. Heffernan’s project involves working on sculptural assemblages made using found and handmade objects and on Culture Night he will be producing impromptu drawings responding to these objects and how they interact with each other in the space.

This will be an intuitive process designed to open up a space for unforeseen associations within the work and will involve working in a range of materials such as fabric, oil sticks, conte crayons, found paper and household emulsion.
