Sarah Long - I Want To Talk About Ireland: Launch Event at Triskel Arts Centre, 18 Sep, Culture Night. This spoken word album, translated from a work of autofiction, deals with dreams, language and nationhood. Sarah will perform part of the work.
Sarah Long is Artist in Residence in TRISKEL SAMPLE Project Space from 3 September – 25 October. A Cork-based artist, she creates autofiction that she translates across painting, performance and publication.
I Want To Talk About Ireland is a work of autofiction translated into a spoken word album. This art object centres around ideas of dreams, language and nationhood through a feminist lens. Sarah will be performing part of the work on the night alongside this listening event.
