The Shelbourne Bar is a traditional Irish pub nestled in the heart of the Victorian Quarter of Cork City since 1895. It is renowned for its friendly staff, great service and extensive Irish whiskey offering.

The Shelbourne boasts the largest selection of Irish whiskey in Cork City with over 170 different choices to enjoy from all styles and flavour profiles. They won the gold medal at the Irish whiskey awards for the best Irish whiskey bar in Munster.

Each whiskey has its own story and the bar staff would be delighted to share it with you. They also offer a selection of Whiskey Boards designed to meet the needs of all whiskey drinkers, whether it is your first time tasting or you fancy yourself as a whiskey connoisseur.

The Shelbourne Bar has an extensive selection of draft beers, bottled beer, ciders, spirits, wines and whiskeys, so you can choose your personal favourite or try something a little different. They also offer table service, free WIFI to all customers, have outdoor seating and a heated smoking area with a great view of the Victorian Quarter on which they reside.

Located on MacCurtain Street, right next door to the Everyman Theatre, the bar is an ever popular venue for all those attending a performance or show in this well known venue. During the working week The Shelbourne caters for a busy lunch trade with a selection of sandwiches, toasties, wraps, baguettes, salads and soup of the day.
