Now in its 9th year, the Skibbereen Walking Festival which is run by the Skibbereen & District Chamber of Commerce, showcases the beauty and history that this area of west Cork has to offer in abundance, through this year’s six walks.

All of our walks are guided and bring everyone through quiet country roads with some off-road sections; there is something for walkers of all abilities. The meeting point for all walks is Skibbereen Heritage Centre with bus transport provided to and from out-of-town walks and refreshments provided for all walks (included in the ticket price). Pre-registering is essential, tickets can be booked online.
