The Algiers Inn
Baltimore, Co. Cork
Family friendly
Rainy days
The Algiers Inn is irreverent, passionate and storied. First established in 1893 and, for almost 130 years, has been a popular destination for food, drink and entertainment in the heart of Baltimore village, nestled along the spectacular coastline of West Cork.

The Algiers Inn's name recalls the infamous sacking of the harbour village of Baltimore, by Barbary pirates from North Africa, who left with more than 100 local people and sold them into lives of slavery.

Experience the charm, character and warm atmosphere within these historic pub walls. Taste tantalising tacos, perfect pints and magical cocktails in The Algiers Inn. The wholesome menu offers a variety of dishes inspired by local, Asian and Mexican influences. Specialities include the house made pitta crisps, chicken taquitos and roasted pumpkin tacos.

Sit and relax indoors by the warm fire during the cold, winter months or enjoy the outdoor beer garden with a cocktail in the afternoon sunshine during the long, summer evenings. Marvel at the magnificent views overlooking Baltimore Harbour.
