David takes care of front of house, while Martin is the chef whose passion enables the kitchen to produce inspirational, seasonal dishes of great quality.

The Lifeboat Inn focuses on good food cooked simply. Dishes are sourced locally from land and sea. The key to Martin’s food is always freshness and seasonality, underpinned by a respect for the locality. Irish produce takes centre stage in a wholesome menu which includes locally caught seafood, as well as some of the finest meat and poultry, which is also sourced from local butchers.

Courtmacsherry is one of the perfect pitstops on your visit to the West Cork area, with its stunning sandy beaches, scenic walks, water activities, whale watching and fishing. This cosy gastro pub provides the perfect setting for experiencing Irish hospitality and the garden with a waterfront decking sets the perfect backdrop for enjoying your visit to Courtmacsherry.
