Energia Renewables' Meenadreen Wind Farm in South Donegal hosts part of the Leghowney Loop with spectacular views of the Bluestack Mountains.
Leghowney Loop in County Donegal is a scenic 7km walk through the Meenadreen Wind Farm which starts and ends at Leghowney Community Hall. It begins with a moderate climb through forestry, passing the remains of old homesteads. On a clear day, walkers at the top are rewarded with a panoramic view of the Fermanagh Hills, Ox Mountains, Benbulben Mountain, Donegal Bay, Blue Stack Mountains and Lough Eske.
