In Ireland, the day will be celebrated with events taking place in towns and cities across the country alongside the flagship Dublin event on the 18th of May 2025 at the Royal Hospital Kilmainham, Dublin.

This free, family day will see musicians, dancers and cultural groups from across Africa gather to celebrate Africa Day. This follows last year’s successful Africa Day event at RHK, which attracted over 6,000 people.
