Art & The Outdoors
Dublin City, Co. Dublin
2 August - 3 August 2025
Family friendly
Free to visit
Art and the Outdoors is the Hugh Lane Gallery’s annual community celebration taking place on the street on Parnell Square North in the heart of the city. Free and for all ages!

Now in its fifth year, Art and the Outdoors is inspired by artists who moved out of their studio to paint en plein air or out of doors.

Taking place over the August Bank Holiday we are celebrating the creative potential of our surroundings, our city, and our streets…on the doorstep of the Hugh Lane Gallery.

Through an exciting and family friendly programme of live music by incredibly talented musicians and performers, artist-led art workshops including life drawing and printmaking; Poetry bursts; face painting, street spectacle, storytelling, quiet and sensory spaces and more, we encourage you to take the time to look around you and be inspired.

Readers are advised to check with the venue before relying on the details published here.
