Culture Club: Ailbhe Ní Bhriain: The Dream Pool Intervals
Dublin City, Co. Dublin
5 August 2025
Free to visit
Join us for a guided tour of the work of Ailbhe Ní Bhriain. Led by Aoife Convery, this tour will explore a temporary exhibition of the artist’s tapestries titled The Dream Pool Intervals.

Our Culture Clubs are a great way to explore art in a stimulating and friendly environment.

Five large-scale jacquard tapestries form the centre of this exhibition and create a journey through emblematic iconography of past colonial repression and early technological aspirations. They convey complex political and dynastic messages that resist singular interpretation and echo the fragmented nature of how information is gathered and absorbed in our subconscious. These tapestries are a new series of works created especially for Hugh Lane Gallery by the contemporary artist.

Free, advance booking required.

Readers are advised to check with the venue before relying on the details published here.
