Goethe Choir presents Stabat Mater by Karl Jenkins

Come experience a performance of 'Stabat Mater' by Karl Jenkins and a commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the death of Benjamin Britten

Goethe Choir are delighted to present a rare performance in Ireland of 'Stabat Mater' by Karl Jenkins, with special guests the Städtische Cantorei (Birgit Agge, Director) from Lüneburg in Germany, with soloists Aiko Bormann (Mezzosoprano) and Samira Al-Amrie (Singer), organist Tom Little and the Goethe Ensemble, all under the direction of John Dexter.

The concert will also feature performances of Benjamin Britten's 'A Hymn to the Virgin' and 'A Hymn of St Columba' to mark the 50th anniversary of the composer's death.

Join us in the beautiful surroundings of Christ Church Cathedral for a wonderful musical evening.
