Big Bang Festival of Rhythm present an Introduction to West African Percussion, a workshop at National Concert Hall, Dublin this August.

Dublin’s longest running intercultural festival, the Big Bang Festival of Rhythm (established 1994) presents this workshop as the perfect introduction to West African drumming. Nicolas Severin (Chilean)and Brian Fleming (Irish) have studied in Africa with many of the great masters over three decades. The workshop is open to all levels and ages (children should be accompanied by parents). All instruments will be supplied but participants who have their own are welcome to bring them also.
