Jota.pê has rapidly risen in the Brazilian music scene, surpassing 2.5 million Spotify streams just a month after releasing his second album Se Meu Peito Fosse o Mundo in March 2024, featuring collaborations with Xênia França and Gilsons. Produced in partnership with Som Livre, the album earned three Latin Grammy nominations and accolades, including Best Afro-Brazilian Music Album and Best Portuguese Language Song for “Ouro Marrom,” while also securing four Multishow 2024 Award nominations.
