M.J. Wright is a family owned pub in Dublin City, where stories are written in stout and a warm welcome awaits.

M.J. Wright located on South Great George’s Street, on the corner of the iconic George’s Street Arcade, which opened in 1881. The pub spans across four floors of this historic building and is a place for family and friends to gather, and for stories to be shared.

In the Public House and Cellar Bar, they serve creamy pints of stout, whiskey, spirits, wines and beers. The pub classics menu is available in both. The Cellar Bar is home to cosy nooks and late night conversations.

The Eating Rooms, opening in January 2026, are located on the first floor, serving pub classics. There is a 45 seater dining room and private dining space. The Butterfly Room, their private hire function room, is on the third floor.
