SHREDDER - Dublin Fringe Festival
Dublin City, Co. Dublin
16 September - 20 September 2025
SHREDDER is a razor-edged sci-fi satire set in a retro-futurist world drowning in data. One man, one shredder, and a mission to delete everything. Absurd, visual, and darkly funny. Created by David McGovern, Ois O’Donoghue & Anderson de Souza.

Award-winning artist David McGovern returns to Dublin Fringe Festival 2025 with a multi-disciplinary theatre experience called SHREDDER, that embraces destruction and bold acts of letting go - and with a suggested antidote to our increasingly busy, always-on lifestyles.

SHREDDER is a new live show written and performed by award-winning artist David McGovern that embraces destruction and bold acts of letting go. SHREDDER says ‘enough’ to our busy, always-on lives and defiantly dumps what we don’t need. On stage nothing is safe, with AI slop, fascist propaganda, personal essays, unnecessary screenshots and holiday photos all meeting their end. SHREDDER is not concerned with gentle conversations or sentimentality – everything must go.
