The Dublin Jazz Co-Op Presents the Hayley Kavanagh Quartet. Expect to hear original compositions alongside arrangements of hard and post-bop repertoire, drawing from artists such as Joe Henderson, Wayne Shorter and Cedar Walton.
Dublin-based saxophonist and flautist Hayley Kavanagh has become a familiar presence on the city’s jazz scene since returning to Ireland in 2023 after several years abroad. She leads her own quartet, which performs frequently, including a recent appearance at this year’s Bray Jazz Festival.
A regular member of So-Young Yoon’s Master Album Series and The Genuine Jazz Orchestra, as well as an active collaborator across a range of other projects, Hayley has shared the stage with many of Ireland’s most respected improvising musicians including Dr Linley Hamilton, Cathal Roche, Derek Whyte, Michael Buckley, Aleka Pontinga, and Chris Guilfoyle.
