Bridewell Brewery, located in Clifden, County Galway, presents guided tours of its craft brewery in the heart of scenic Connemara during the autumn months. Meet the maker, see how the artisan ales are brewed, learn the history and hear the stories.
Bridewell Brewery offer tours throughout September, October and November for pre booked guests on Thursdays. The 45 minute tour visits the keg room, malt room, brew house and fermentation room. You will meet one of the brewers, learn the history of the brewery’s name and hear the story of the brewery and its historic surroundings. Each of the artisan beers has a tale to tell.
The tour does not include a beer tasting due to licensing restrictions. But you will find their creations in the local pubs and restaurants. Choose from Bridewell's gold, blond, brown and red ales, pilsners and Kölsch style beer, on draught and in bottles.
Pre booking is required at least one day in advance of the tour, as places are limited.
