The Galway Docklands Festival returns with an exciting new collaboration with the world-famous Galway Oyster Festival, bringing a vibrant celebration of maritime culture and seafood to the heart of the city. Across the weekend, visitors can enjoy traditional sailing displays, family activities, music, heritage workshops, and the unique atmosphere of Galway’s maritime world.
The Docklands will come alive with boat tours, local food producers, and interactive experiences that highlight the city’s seafaring past and present. This year also features the Galway RNLI Open Day, giving the public a chance to meet the lifeboat crew and learn about their vital work. All money raised throughout the festival will go directly to supporting the RNLI.
