Petersburg Outdoor Education & Training Centre in County Galway, is an old landlord estate, boasting accommodation for up to 60 people, with a mixture of accommodation styles including dormitories and small rooms. It is located on Lough Mask in Clonbur, County Galway.
The centre operates under County Galway VEC, and since 1988 has developed many exciting outdoor adventure sports activities and challenging expeditions for all age groups. They offer a range of activities, including, windsurfing, sailing, orienteering, rock climbing, kayaking, canoeing, caving, hill walking, obstacle courses and gorge walking.
Petersburg is ideally located for field studies and is used as a base by many geology groups.
