Salthill Beach is located approximately 2km from Galway City and is made up of several small beaches which are separated by rocky outcrops. It is a popular beach for walking, swimming and relaxing.

Salthill Beach is located near Galway City and is within a Special Area of Conservation or SAC. The beach consists of some sandy and some pebbled smaller beaches which are separated by rocky outcrops.

The beach is approximately 2km from Galway City and is accessible by foot. Alternatively there are many buses which service the area.

The beach is lifeguarded during the summer months. More information can be found on the noticeboard located at the beach.
