Scorched Earth
Galway City, Co. Galway
15 July - 19 July 2025
Luke Murphy Attic Projects co-produced with Dublin Dance Festival & Galway International Arts Festival present Scorched Earth. Crime-drama meets dance theatre in a gripping exploration of ambition, land, and legacy.

From the creator of the multi-award-winning Volcano [GIAF 2020 & 2022] comes Scorched Earth, part crime-drama, part psychological thriller.

What right do we have to the land beneath our feet? What are we willing to do to keep it? Or to take it? Inspired by John B Keane’s The Field, and written, directed, and choreographed by Luke Murphy, Scorched Earth transports the audience into a stark interrogation room as a detective and suspect unearth the ghosts of a long-unsolved murder.
