Baily's Corner was established in 1981 and it was originally on the corner of Ashe Street. As a local institution in Tralee it has been central to music, fun and many a debate. Founded by owner Garry O’Donnell, Garry and staff have been keeping the people of the Kerry fed, watered, informed and most importantly entertained for over 30 years. Every day scores of people gather in the pub to discuss the important and often not so important issues of the day and Garry’s staff will always be able to provide an entertaining new insight.

Previously Harty's in Castle Street, Baily's has retained some of Harty's character while bringing its own unique Baily’s charm. The bar sits proudly on lower Castle Street across from Bank of Ireland.

From humble beginnings, the Rose of Tralee International Festival was conceived at this famous watering hole. Some fifty years, ago a small group of enterprising local businessmen gathered and came up with the idea for the world famous Rose of Tralee.
