The Coffee Pot Café is positioned at the beginning of the spectacular glacial valley that is the Gap of Dunloe in County Kerry. Light refreshments, full Irish breakfast, lunch and beautiful home baking are all served here.

The menu at The Coffee Pot Café provides a selection of sandwiches, all served on a choice of sourdough, French roll, rye, pumpernickel, or wholegrain breads. The freshly prepared salads are served with a choice of home made dressings. Soups, egg dishes and a kids menu are also available. There is seating for up to 50 people.

The restaurant is 10 kilometres west of Killarney, 4 kilometres off the N72 Killorglin road, with Tomie’s Mountain and Purple Mountain on the left and the McGillycuddy Reeks to its right. The gap trail itself is about 10 kilometres in length, many people walk or cycle, but for the romantic, a journey through the gap, on a pony and trap returning by boat via the Killarney Lakes and Ross Castle is the only way experience the magical area, a magnificent unforgettable trip not to be missed.

There is a souvenir shop is to the rear of the cafe where you can purchase memorabilia to remind you of a very special day in the Gap of Dunloe.
