From Sunday 22nd June to Sunday 29th June, Kildare celebrates 160 years of the Irish Derby! A week of live music, FREE fun family events, Kildare's finest food and racing at the Curragh! Something for everyone throughout the week!
The 2025 Kildare Derby Festival hosts activities and events for all ages celebrating Kildare's equine heritage and leading up to the 160th running of the Irish Derby on Sunday, 29th of June at the Curragh Racecourse.
With a fantastic line up of events including a colorful Carnival through Kildare town on Sunday 22nd June, a Pooch Parade on Monday 23rd, a Derby Legends Evening on Tuesday 24th, Concert in the Cathedral with Jack L on Weds 25th and concluding with a heart thumping performance by The Whistlin' Donkeys at the Curragh Racecourse on Sunday 29th June, there is a selection of FREE family fun and paid events throughout the weekend.
