Goatsbridge Trout Farm organise farm tours where visitors can learn about our traditional trout farming system, the art of smoking and processing, as well as our family history and the heritage behind the company.
Goatsbridge Trout Farm was established in 1961 and today is a leading provider of premium Irish Rainbow Trout around Ireland. Visitors to the farm in the outskirts of Thomastown, County Kilkenny, are welcome to can watch the trout at stages from eyed ova in the hatchery until they reach maturity at 20 months in the earthen pond.
For an opportunity to have a go at line fishing or for more information for schools, groups or casual visitors that might include lunch. Please note: pre-booking is essential.
Visitors are welcome to drop into the visitor center without booking, we would love to see you!
