Limerick City Library at the Granary is the main branch for the city's library system. It is home to about 100,00 books and audio-visual materials for children and adults. Membership is not required for browsing or using resources on site.

The main branch and headquarter for Limerick City Library, which is located in the Granary, offers a wide range of services. Altogether, there are around 100,000 books and audio-visual materials available to adults and children for recreation, information and study. The collection of items available for loan include large print and talking books and a broad selection of audio language courses including French, German and more.

Visitors do not need to become a member if they wish to only browse, find information or use the resources available for research or project work. Membership is required for borrowing items.
