The ULO is honoured to be joined by Limerick’s-own Emma Downes, a graduate of the University’s MA in String Performance and a current fellow of London’s prestigious Sinfonia Smith Square orchestra.
Also planned are exciting performances of Borodin’s Overture to his opera Prince Igor, and Bizet’s two Carmen orchestral suites. This promises to be a wonderful evening of romantic and virtuosic music as the orchestra closes out its 2024/2025 season.
